Behind the Scenes of My 25 in 2025 List + How You Can Create One

Ready to take on 2025 with purpose? Let me share how my “25 in 2025 list” keeps me motivated and inspired—and how it can work for you too! Last year, I shared my “24 in 2024” list on Instagram, and the response was incredible! People commented, asked questions, and kept the conversation alive throughout the year. This time, I’m back with my “25 in 2025 list,” and I’m excited to share it with you again.

Why am I doing this? Honestly, sharing my list publicly holds me accountable and gives me the push I need to accomplish the things I set out to do. Plus, it’s a fun way to inspire others to create their own lists and crush their goals.

My 25 in 2025 List

Here’s my list for the year:

  1. Buy a second pair of blue light glasses
  2. Redo my email welcome sequence.
  3. Update the tools and resources page on my website.
  4. Use a teeth whitening kit.
  5. Clean up the photos on my phone.
  6. Deep clean all the files on my computer.
  7. Update my LinkedIn page
  8. Refresh my business Facebook page.
  9. Create a favorite tools highlight on Instagram.
  10. Add an “About Me” highlight on Instagram.
  11. Declutter 100 things from my home.
  12. Organize my Canva account.
  13. Plan a weekend getaway with business friends.
  14. Take an infant and child CPR class.
  15. Create a new email opt-in focused on course creation.
  16. Organize my linen closet.
  17. Update my “Whoops—I died” instructions (yes, this is a real thing I have for my husband!).
  18. Buy a cute zip-up jacket that I love.
  19. Get two new pairs of sunglasses.
  20. Apply for a business award.
  21. Go on a trip with my best friend.
  22. Take my daughter to a children’s museum or other kid-focused play space.

  25. Buy new everyday tennis shoes.

Some items are practical (like updating my Facebook page), while others are purely for fun (like planning a trip with my best friend!).

How to Write Your Own 25 in 2025 List

If this idea sparks your interest, creating your own 25 in 2025 list is a great way to set intentional goals for the year. Here’s how to get started:

1. Brainstorm All Areas of Your Life

Think about different aspects of your life—work, personal growth, family, hobbies, health, and fun. Jot down a mix of practical goals and things that simply bring you joy.

2. Keep It Manageable

While it’s tempting to aim high, make sure your goals are realistic. It’s okay to include simple, actionable tasks alongside bigger dreams. The balance will keep you motivated throughout the year.

3. Use Tools to Stay Organized

I’m keeping track of my list on Dynalist, a note-taking app that’s perfect for projects like this. Gretchen Rubin also offers a free printable for goal tracking—check it out if you prefer something tangible.

4. Share Your List

Accountability is key! Share your list with friends, family, or even your Instagram audience. It’s amazing how much support and encouragement you can get when others know what you’re working toward.

5. Track Your Progress

Set regular check-ins with yourself. Whether you’re crossing items off a paper list or updating a digital tracker, seeing progress is incredibly satisfying.
