FAQ's to Course Migration

What platforms do you move online courses to? 

It's almost always Thrivecart, Kajabi or Kartra. These are the platforms that make the most sense for most people (have the best features and affordable prices). I have at times migrated courses over to LearnPress, Podia and a few other places but I try to simplify things these day and stick with my signature three.

What's the investment?

Honestly it really depends! I used to offer a flat rate fee for course migration but it ended up getting a little wacky when some courses are 15 modules or more and some are just 5!

Before we work together we'll have a discovery call and I'll send over a custom proposal for your migration. For most clients the range is $2,500 to $4,000 depending on how much content is in the course and if we're also migrating over sales funnels and sales pages.

What's Included? 

Always Included: 
  • Migrating over all lessons (videos, worksheets, text, audio and any other resources) 
  • Adding your branding into the course
  • Auditing and reviewing your course to make sure everything still works and helps your students actually learn. 
  • Finding spots where we can create new resources to help support your students like adding transcripts, checklists or audio downloads. 

Usually Included (but you might have a team already to help with some of this):
  • Migrating your student email welcome sequence (if you're also changing email platforms)
  • Migrating evergreen sales funnels 
  • Transferring your sales page over to the new platform
  • Transferring landing pages, webinar signups, etc... to the new platform 

How long does it take? 

30 Days - sometimes longer if it's a huge migration project. It's really important to me that while we're migrating your course over I'm also double checking everything and reviewing your lessons to catch anything that might need updated. 30 Days gives us time to review things multiple times.
